What are you reading? It’s a great question to ask anyone around you. You’ll probably get a mix of non-fiction, sci-fi, romance, bromance, and other fun genres.

As you hear those around you list off their titles, you’re getting a peek into how they’re learning, growing, and becoming better. What we read shapes us!

Don’t be afraid to ask what others are reading. You’re going to be adding to your reading list because of it.

It can be hard to see the future. Much of what is here today was a pipedream, if that, years ago. Technology has progressed, advancements have been made, and our present doesn’t look like what we thought it would.

3. The Earned Life: Lose Regret, Choose Fulfillment by Marshall Goldsmith:

Do you live a life of “I’ll be happy when…”? Marshall Goldsmith wants us to banish that thought. And I agree with him.

Our thoughts that we’ll be happy when we get the promotion, find a spouse, or retire lead to a life of regret… Or less fulfillment.

While Goldsmith and I disagree on the spiritual aspect of things, I belive Goldsmith’s approach can help you find fulfillment when the world is telling you to achieve more.

4. Net Positive: How Courageous Companies Thrive by Giving More Than They Take by Paul Polman and Andrew Winston:

Too many organizations believe they’ll only succeed by taking more… more from their customers, vendors, and the world. What if that wasn’t the right approach?

Former Unilever CEO Paul Polman teams up with Andrew Winston to talk about giving back and making sure you’re taking care of the world around you.
